Astrology For Beginners will meet from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, with Patricia Rockwood, MA. Astrology is a timeless wisdom. Its function is to connect with your own inner wisdom, strength and power through its profound and accurate language, providing a guide to help navigate your own life path. To get a glimpse of your chart bring your time of, date of and place of birth to this class. Patty will use data from participants to explore astrology during this introductory session.

Freedom from Pain Support Group will gather from 10:30-noon Thursday with Cynthia Magg, an EFT practitioner. Say “adios” to aches and pains that deplete energy and disrupt life. Join this weekly EFT tapping support group. Whether the pain is old, new, acute — injury or disease-related — the quality of life can be improved. Weekly sessions are combined with mind-body-emotions concepts that will empower participants to access their body’s innate ability to self-heal. No prior EFT experience is necessary.

Earl’s Garage presents ‘Fright Shop – Get Ghoulish’ Party from 5:30-9:30 p.m. this Saturday. The event will be a mechanically animated Halloween experience free to all who dare. Earl’s Garage student inventors are working hard to get things creepy in time for the Fright Shop – using motors, controllers and various tools to create a mechanically animated, haunted “Fright Shop.”
